할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다.
여러분들의 기도와 중보 가운데 저는 켄터키 주에 있는 노아의 방주 박물관에 와 있습니다. 이곳은 노아의 방주를 실물 크기로 제작해서 많은 사람들에게 성경의 모습 그대로를 보여 주고 있습니다. 하나님의 놀라우신 역사를 노아의 방주를 통해 많은 깨달음을 주셔서 감사드립니다. 우리 갈렙선교회의 사역이 오직 하나님께 영광을 돌리기 원합니다.
여러분들의 기도 가운데 미국에서 많은 사람들을 만나고 있는데 정말 따뜻한 한국인의 정과 미국인의 정을 함께 느끼고 있습니다.
특히 이곳 오하이오 주에서 저희를 섬겨 주시는 우리 갈렙선교회 회원 집사님과 권사님 너무나 감사드리고 그를 통해서 하나님의 사역을 더 많이 이어갈 수 있게 하심에 깊이 감사드립니다.
여러분! 한 생명이 천하보다도 귀하다고 했는데, 여러분들의 기도와 동역을 통해서 많은 생명들을 살릴 수 있는 놀라운 역사가 일어났습니다. 미국인 크리스천 분께서 탈북민을 구출하는데 헌신해 주셨는데 이것이 바로 국가를 뛰어넘는 그리스도의 사랑과 하나님의 형상을 닮은 사람들의 헌신인 줄 믿습니다. 이 은혜로운 일에는 여러분들의 기도가 있음을 다시 한번 말씀드리고 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.
다가오는 5월 16일 저녁 6시 뉴욕의 유엔 본부 앞에서 모이는 통일 광장에서 북한 인권과 복음 통일을 위해서 기도회를 하는데 복된 시간이 될 수 있도록 여러분께서 동참해 주시길 부탁드립니다.
무엇보다도 우리 선교센터가 오직 하나님의 영광을 위해서 쓰임 받을 수 있도록 함께 기도 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다.

The Second Week of May
Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
Thanks to your prayers and support, I am currently visiting the Noah's Ark Museum in Kentucky. The museum features a life-size replica of Noah's Ark, accurately portraying the biblical story. I am thankful this visit made me understand God's amazing work through this exhibit. Caleb Mission strives to bring glory solely to God.
We have been meeting good people in the US, and your prayers have greatly supported us. I feel the warmth of both Koreans and Americans here, which is encouraging.
I want to express special gratitude to the deacons supporting Caleb Mission and serving us here in Ohio. We are deeply thankful for their help in continuing God's ministry.
Caleb Mission is starting to rescue new North Korean defectors and carry out gospel ministry at the Southeast Asia Center. Please pray and cooperate with us.
One life is more valuable than the entire world. With your prayers and support, an incredible blessing from God has occurred. An American Christian brother has provided great support for rescuing North Korean defectors. This act of love transcends nation and is a true reflection of people resembling the image of God. I want to express my gratitude and remind you that this gracious work happens because of your prayers.
Join us on May 16th at 6 PM for the Unification Prayer Meeting in front of the UN Headquarters in New York. Let's pray for North Korean human rights and unification through the gospel.

1. Heavenly Father, we desire the restoration of North and South Korea so that the gospel of Christ may be spread. We are committed to working only for God's glory.

3. God, please help us raise North Korean mission leaders through the Southeast Center and North Korean Defectors' Centers in South Korea.

여러분들의 기도 가운데 미국 여정을 진행하고 있습니다. 저는 지금 미국 뉴욕주의 코넬 대학에서 비욘드 유토피아를 통해 기독교의 역할을 학생들에게 소개할 예정입니다.
앞으로 계속 이동하면서 미국의 여러 주를 돌아다닐 것입니다. 이번 주는 조지아, 애틀랜타의 새한 장로교에서 주일 저녁7시에 기도 모임을 가집니다. 교포 여러분과 북한 선교에 관심을 가지신 분들은 함께 해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.
여러분! 미국에 와서 많은 일들을 경험하고 있습니다. 하나님의 크신 은혜로 크리스천들을 사용하셔서 이루시는 많은 은혜를 경험하고 있습니다. 북한과 남한이 복음으로 통일될 수 있는 그날까지 갈렙선교회와 함께 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

The First Week of May
Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
Thanks to your prayers, our journey in the US is going well. I will discuss Christianity's role with students at Cornell University through Beyond Utopia in upstate New York.
This week, we will hold a prayer meeting at Saehan Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday at 7 PM. We invite anyone interested in missionary work in North Korea to join us
Through God's grace and the help of Christians, I've had many blessings in the US. Please pray with Caleb Mission to unite North and South Korea through the gospel.
North Korean sisters recently rescued are now doing bible study sincerely at Caleb Mission's Southeast Asia Center. Please show your support and pray for the upcoming mission to rescue defectors in China.
We are blessed to witness many individuals devoted to prayer coming together in the US. Please join us in rescuing North Korean defectors and spreading the gospel. Support the church in Cheonan in its efforts to produce gospel mission leaders. I'll be back with you next week with a newsletter. Thank you.

1. Heavenly Father. We pray that North and South Korea will be unified through the gospel and that Caleb Mission will be used for this work.

할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다.
저는 오늘 워싱턴 DC 통일 광장 기도회의 초청으로 북한 선교의 간증과 기도를 나누었고, 지금은 링컨 기념관 옆의 한국전 참전 공원에서 함께 은혜를 나누고 있습니다. 여러분들의 기도 가운데 많은 사역들을 감당하고 있습니다.
그리고 며칠 전, 이산가족 등록 법안을 공동 발의한 팀 케인 연방 상원 의원의 감사장을 받았습니다. 많은 분들이 비욘드 유토피아를 보시고, 격려해 주시고 함께 은혜를 나누는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이 모든 것들이 바로 여러분들의 기도와 동역 덕분에 가능했습니다.
5월 1일은 코넬 대학에서 비욘드 유토피아의 상영회와 Q&A를 시간을 가질 예정이고, 5월 3일에는 신시내티 능력 침례교회에서 금요 예배를 인도하게 됩니다.
그리고 5월 5일에는 콜럼버스 예수 목자교회에서 주일 예배를 인도하게 됩니다.
이 모든 일정들이 여러분의 기도를 통해서 감당할 수 있을 줄 믿습니다. 제가 가는 곳마다 하나님의 놀라운 역사와 탈북민들의 구출이 함께하는 역사가 일어나길 원합니다.

The Last Week of April
Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
Today, I attended a prayer meeting in D.C. and shared my testimony about my missionary work in North Korea. I am at the Korean War Veterans Park next to the Lincoln Memorial. Prayers would help us continue this ministry.
I received a certificate of recognition from Senator Tim Kaine, who co-introduced the Divided Families National Registry Act. Many people watched Beyond Utopia, which was encouraging. Your prayers and cooperation made all of this possible.
I have scheduled a screening and Q&A of Beyond Utopia at Cornell University on May 1st. On May 3rd, I will lead the Friday service at Korean Power Mission Baptist in Cincinnati. On May 5th, I will lead Sunday worship at Columbus Church of Jesus The Shepherd in Columbus Ohio.
Your prayers help this journey. I hope to see God's work rescuing North Korean defectors through these visits.
Please pray for the US tour participants not to tire out in God's grace and for God's work to rescue North Korean defectors and spread the gospel. Thank you.

미주 투어는 지난 주 보스턴에서 시작했습니다. 어제는 하버드 대학교에서 많은 사람들과 은혜를 나눴고, 오늘은 뉴욕에 와서 미국외교협회에서 북한인권에 대해 이야기를 나눴습니다.
저는 내일 워싱턴 DC로 가서 많은 교회 및 싱크탱크 기관들과 만남을 가질 예정입니다.
이 모든 것들이 오로지 하나님 영광을 위해서 사용될 수 있도록, 여러분들 함께 기도해 주시고 중보해 주시기 바랍니다.
특히 동남아 센터에 있는 우리 탈북민 자매들은 열심히 신앙생활을 하고 있습니다. 그들이 국내에 들어와서 믿음으로 생활하고 승리해서 탈북 선교, 북한 선교, 민족 복음 선교의 리더로 세워질 수 있도록 함께 기도해 주시기 부탁드립니다.

The Fourth Week of April
Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
I am grateful for your prayers and God's grace, as my visit to the United States is going smoothly.
We started the US tour in Boston last week. Yesterday, I spoke to many people at Harvard University about the North Korean mission. Today, I had the opportunity to discuss North Korean human rights at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.
I plan to visit many churches and think tanks in Washington, DC, tomorrow. Please pray that this trip is solely for the glory of God.
Please pray for the recently rescued North Korean defector sisters at the Southeast Asia Center. Pray that they successfully integrate into their new country, grow in their faith, and become leaders in North Korean mission and national gospel missions.
Please join us in prayer for the North Korean Defectors' community center, which is currently preparing many crops for the upcoming spring season. We will continue to post good news and updates and ask for your support in saving lives. Thank you.

할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다. 여러분들의 기도 가운데 저는 무사히 미국에 도착하였고, 교회에서 간증과 설교를 겸하면서 미국 투어를 시작하게 되었습니다. 미국 내에서 많은 분들과 하나님의 역사를 체험하면서 함께 하기를 원합니다.
4월 23일에는 워싱턴 DC의 통일광장에서 북한사역을 나누는 북한을 위한 기도회가 있습니다. 함께 중보해주시길 부탁드립니다.
이번 미국방문 중에는 갈렙선교회의 북한 사역과 탈북민들의 인권문제를 집중적으로 알리게 될 것입니다. 모든 과정 가운데 하나님께서 예비하신 사람들을 통해서 탈북민들을 구출하고 또 그들에게 복음을 전하는 일에 많은 분들이 함께 할 수 있도록 중보부탁드립니다.
이번에 탈북 후 동남아 센터에 있는 우리 탈북민들은 지금 열심히 신앙생활하면서 하나님의 은혜를 나누고 있습니다. 이들이 한국에 오면 공부하고 리더로 세워질 탈북민 센터를 위해서도 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
The weather suits the North Korean defectors' community of Caleb Mission to plant seeds and prepare for spring.
Upon arrival in the United States, I began my tour by sharing my testimony and sermons at church, praying for the opportunity to work with many people and experience God's power.
I will join a public prayer meeting for North Korea in Washington, DC, on April 23rd. Please join us in praying and interceding for North Korea.
We're here in the US to raise awareness about Caleb Mission's work for North Korean defectors and human rights issues in North Korea. Please join us in rescuing defectors and sharing the Gospel with them.
The recently rescued North Korean defectors at the Southeast Asia Center are now living their faith with diligence by God's grace. Please pray for the North Korean Defectors' Center where they'll come to study and become future leaders.
We came to the United States with some North Korean defector ministers, and we're earnestly asking for your prayers so that everyone may receive grace and blessings together. We hope that everyone is healthy and that God's grace is with you all. Thank you!

할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다. 여러분의 기도와 사랑 가운데, 갈렙선교회 동남아센터의 최근 구출된 탈북민들은 복음을 들으며 한국 정착을 준비하고 있습니다. 저는 “비욘드 유토피아”와 함께 미국 내에 갈렙선교회의 사역을 알리기 위해 이번주 미국을 방문하게 됩니다. 모든 일정가운데 하나님의 임재가 함께 하시기를 기도해 주시기를 바랍니다.
첫 번째 일정으로 보스턴 하버드 대학교에 가는데 그 지역 교회에서 예배도 예정되어 있습니다. 특히 4월16일 오후 6시30분에 터프츠대학교에 열리는 시사회와 Q&A는 일반인에게 공개됩니다. 보스턴 지역에 계신 많은 분들이 관심을 가져 주시고 함께해 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 관심 있는 분들은 유튜브에 나오는 QR 코드를 참조하시면 됩니다.
5월12일 오후에는 아틀랜타 조지아에서의 통일광장 기도회가 있습니다. 혹시 아틀랜타 지역의 교회나 단체 중 12일 주일 낮 예배 또는 10일 금요예배, 11일 행사에 저를 초청하시고 싶은 분들은 연락부탁드립니다.
그리고 5월19일 뉴욕의 주일 예배 일정이 현재는 비어있는 상황입니다. 북한선교에 관심을 갖고 함께 하고 싶은 교회는 연락 주시면 함께 하도록 하겠습니다. 관심 부탁드립니다.
갈렙선교회가 미국을 방문하고 지경을 넓히기 위해 노력하는 이유는, 이 모든 것을 통해 탈북민 생명을 구하고 복음을 전하기 위한 일입니다. 여러분들의 관심과 기도를 통해 한 명의 탈북민을 더 살릴 수 있습니다. 함께 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

Recently rescued North Korean defectors are listening to the gospel and preparing to settle in South Korea at the Caleb Mission Southeast Asia Center with the help of your prayers and love. I will be visiting the United States this week with Beyond Utopia to promote the work of Caleb Mission. Please pray that God will be with us on this journey.
My first destination is Boston. I plan to deliver speeches at Harvard University and local churches. On April 16th, a "Beyond Utopia" screening at Tufts University will be held, and a Q&A session will follow. Everyone in the Boston area is invited to attend. I'll attend a prayer meeting for unification in Atlanta, GA, on May 12th, Sunday evening. I'll be in Atlanta from May 10th, Friday. If your church or organization wants to connect with me during that time, please get in touch with us.

1. Heavenly Father, please guide Caleb Mission's US visit journey, which can be used to save lives and spread the gospel.
2. Lord, we pray that you will open the way so that many North Korean defectors requesting rescue in China can be rescued quickly and safely.
3. We pray that God will protect everyone participating in this US tour and that only God's glory will be revealed through it.

개인적으로는 고무적인 한 달이었지만, 가자 전쟁은 끔찍한 만행으로 계속되고 있습니다. 최근 들어 권력의 횡포가 강화되고 있는 상황에서, 우리는 지금 어떤 보복이 일어날 수 있는지 지켜보고 있습니다. 이렇게 불안정한 시기에, 국가의 안정은 미약하기만 합니다.
이번 달에는 올해 저를 위한 리더십과 전략적 코칭에 대한 주요 세부 사항이 명확해지고 있습니다.
이곳에 뿌리내리고 머물 수 있다는 것이 힘이 됩니다. 평화를 유지해준 것에 감사합니다.
저는 4일 동안 천 명이 넘는 사람들이 모인 기도회에 참석했습니다! 저는 많은 믿음의 가족들을 보고 감동했습니다! 저는 이러한 중보의 기도에 감사했고, 저에게 맞는 창의적인 기도의 아이디어를 가지고 돌아왔습니다. 저는 다른 지역에서 온 옛 친구들을 보고 많은 위안과 기쁨을 얻었습니다. 특히 이런 전쟁 중에, 가까이에 있는 이웃 혹은 적국 간에서 선지자와 같은 우정이나 통합을 친구와 함께하게 느낄 수 있게 된 것은 저에게 축복이었습니다. 저는 상담과 관련하여 원했던 몇 가지 구체적인 것들이 있었습니다. 저는 옛 지도자들과 다시 연결될 수 있었고, 이번에 이에 관해 그들의 지혜를 얻은 것은 축복이었습니다. 저는 현대판 노예제와 인신매매를 위해 기도하는 단체와 연결되고 공감하게 된 것에 놀랐습니다. 저는 새로운 시즌을 시작하게 되는 시점에서 믿음, 힘 그리고 전환에 감사드립니다,
지난 달 레바논에 도착한 지 1년이 되는 날을 어떻게 기념했는지에 대한 몇 가지 스냅샷이 있습니다:
이 혼란스럽고 놀라운 한 해를 돌아보기 위해 의도적인 시간을 갖기 위해 산속으로 짧은 수련회를 다녀왔습니다. 이곳에서 또 한 해 동안 하나님께 몸을 맡기는 것을 잠시 멈추고 내가 있는 곳에 맞추며 휴식을 취하고 은혜의 초대를 받는 것이 좋았습니다.
큰 변화를 겪은 올해에는 부드러운 위로가 있었지만, 전쟁으로 인한 황폐함과 작고 큰 실망과 슬픔이 있었습니다. 많은 기대와 희망은 놓아야 했습니다.
슬픔을 동반할 수 있는 이상함 속에서, 나는 또한 사랑과 아름다움의 많은 놀라움을 나에게 이름 붙였고, 두 가지 모두를 경외감으로 부드럽게 잡고 있었습니다.

저는 두 가족과 함께 아주 의미 있고 간단한 축하 행사를 했습니다. 저는 하나님께서 저에게 이 가족들을 선물해 주셨고, 많은 사랑과 칭찬을 받은 것에 놀랐습니다. 또한 아랍 어머니의 날을 맞아 축하하게 되었습니다! 우리는 맛있는 식사를 함께 했고, 현관에서 그네를 타고 일몰을 봤습니다.

할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다. 부활의 기쁨을 함께 누리셨는지요? 탈북민공동체에서도 부활절을 기념하는 귀한 시간들을 가졌습니다. 북한의 주민들도 부활절의 기쁨을 함께 하는 그날이 오기를 기도합니다. 부활의 생명이 살아나듯 북한에 복음이 살아나고, 열방에 하나님의 일하심이 일어나기를 기도합니다.
이곳 공동체에도 이제 완연한 봄이 와 농사를 시작하고 나무를 심고 있습니다. 하나님의 은혜 가운데 주님의 영광만 일어나기를 원합니다. 이곳 공동체에도 하나님의 은혜가 있듯이, 탈북민의 생명을 살리는 일에 하나님의 놀라운 역사를 기대합니다.
중국에 숨어있는 많은 탈북민들이 갈렙선교회에 구조 요청을 해오는 가운데, 간절하게 바라는 희망은 한국교회와 또 세계 많은 분들이 비욘드 유토피아를 통해 탈북민 사역에 대해 알게 되고, 갈렙선교회와 동역하기를 원합니다.
그래서 탈북민 사역을 나누기 위해 4월 둘째 주에 미국에 가게 됩니다. 이 모든 일정에 하나님의 영광만 나타내고 생명을 살리는 일에 집중할 수 있도록 함께 중보하고 기도해 주시길 바랍니다.
동남아 센터에서 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 있는 우리 탈북민들이 너무 열심히 생활하고 있는 모습을 보며 생명을 살리고 복음을 전하는 일이 얼마나 복되고 기쁜지 모르겠습니다.
여러분! 고난 뒤에 부활의 소망이 있습니다. 여러분 가정에도 주님의 은혜가 늘 함께 하시기를 기도합니다. 또한, 부족한 주의 종이 준비하고 있는 모든 일들이 오직 생명을 살리고 하나님께 영광 돌리는 데 사용되기를 함께 기도부탁드립니다.

The First Week of April
Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
The weather suits the North Korean defectors' community of Caleb Mission to plant seeds and prepare for spring.
The North Korean defectors' community also celebrated Easter and spent precious time together. We pray that many suffering North Koreans will also share Easter's joy soon. Just as Jesus resurrected, we hope the gospel will come to life in North Korea and God's work will occur in all nations.
Spring has now arrived in this community, and people are starting to farm, plant trees, and create new things. I want everything to happen only to the glory of the Lord. Just as God's grace is present in this community, we look forward to God's amazing work in saving the lives of each North Korean defector.
Many North Korean defectors hiding in China seek rescue from Caleb Mission. I hope that the work of the North Korean ministry, Caleb Mission, will be recognized worldwide through Beyond Utopia and that people will collaborate with them to help these defectors. As a part of this effort, I'll travel to the US on April 12 to share the ministry and raise awareness. Please intercede and pray with us so that these journeys will glorify God and save lives.
North Korean defectors who were rescued recently and are now in Southeast Asia are being nourished both physically and spiritually. Witnessing this fills my heart with joy. There is hope for resurrection after enduring suffering. I pray for the Lord's grace to be with you. Please pray with us that all the work being carried out by the servants of the Lord will save lives and bring glory to God. Thank you.

할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다.
많은 분들이 탈북민 공동체에 대해서 궁금해하셔서 오늘 자세히 설명드리겠습니다. 24년간 탈북민 구출 사역을 해온 저는 탈북민들에게 복음을 전하는 사역도 함께 하고 있습니다.
그러던 중 코로나가 시작되었고, 그 기간 동안에 탈북민들을 구출할 수 없어 많은 고난이 있었습니다.
그때 기도 중에 하나님께서 제게 말씀하시기를 팬데믹 기간을 탈북민들에게 복음 전하는 기간으로 생각하라고 하셨고, 탈북민들과 함께 이곳에서 벽돌을 직접 쌓으며 공동체 건축을 시작했습니다.
탈북민들과 이곳에 건축을 시작한 지 3년 만에 2100평의 대지에 집을 짓고 집회 장소를 완공했으며, 그 후 바로 탈북민을 구출할 수 있었습니다.
저희가 구출한 탈북민들에게 동남아에서 3개월 동안 복음을 전하고, 국내에 들어오면 이곳에서 함께 먹고 나누며, 복음 통일의 리더로 세워 파송하기를 원합니다.
이 일에 여러분들의 기도와 노고가 있었기에 다시 한번 감사드립니다.

The Fourth Week of March
Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
The weather suits the North Korean defectors' community of Caleb Mission to plant seeds and prepare for spring.
Many people are interested in learning about the North Korean Defectors' Community Center so that I will explain today. As someone who has served in the rescue ministry for North Korean defectors for 24 years, my main goal is to share the gospel with them. When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, it was a challenging time for everyone, and I faced difficulties in rescuing North Korean defectors during that period. However, during prayer, God instructed me to view the pandemic period as a time to spread the gospel to North Korean defectors. And so, we began building a community center with North Korean defectors.
In the past three years, we have faced challenges in building during the pandemic. However, we believe that God's plan is accurate. We worked with North Korean defectors to build two buildings on 74724 sq. ft. The project was completed after the pandemic, and we could resume rescuing North Korean defectors immediately.
We nurture and preach the gospel to rescued North Korean defectors at a safe house in Southeast Asia. Our goal is to help them become leaders in unification through the gospel and support them in adjusting to life in South Korea. We hope to continue this virtuous cycle of North Korean missions. Thank you for your prayers and support in this mission.
I am currently preparing for a US tour. Thanks to God's grace and your help, many events have been scheduled, but we would like to inform you that some schedules have not been filled. DC and Virginia area: April 19th to 29th. Atlanta and Ohio area from May 7th to 10th, California area after May 27th. 할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다. 여러분의 기도 가운데 최근 구출된 탈북민들이 하나님의 은혜로 성경을 봉독하고 필독하면서 동남아 센터에서 신앙생활을 잘하고 있습니다.
또한 갈렙선교회의 미주투어도 원활하게 준비되고 있습니다.
이곳 탈북민 공동체에는 봄이 와서 밭에 농작물을 심고 있고, 산에는 산삼과 도라지를 심고 있습니다. 저는 이 농작물들이 잘 자라서 갈렙선교회 회원들이 이곳을 방문했을 때 함께 나눌 수 있기를 기대하고 있습니다. 이곳 탈북민 센터가 하나님께 영광 돌리는 복음의 전진 기지가 될 수 있도록 계속 기도부탁드립니다.
또한 이제 총선이 얼마 남지 않았습니다. 이 나라를 위해서 예수 그리스도의 복음 안에 있는 자들이 국회에 들어갈 수 있도록 기도 부탁드립니다. 특히 위정자들이 이 나라 한반도 땅의 복음 통일을 위해서 기도할 수 있는 분들이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.
현재 구출해야 할 탈북민들이 많습니다. 안타깝게도 지난주 러시아에서 탈북민을 구출하던 선교사님께서 간첩혐의로 체포되어 고난을 받고 있습니다. 선교사님과 아직 자유를 찾지 못한 탈북민들을 위해서 기도부탁드립니다. 저희 미국 투어에 많은 비용이 필요한데, 재정의 기름 부음도 기도 부탁드립니다.

The Third Week of March
Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
The recently rescued North Korean defectors are coming to know God through Bible reading by the Grace of God at the Southeast Asia Center. Thank your prayers. Caleb Mission’s US tour is also being prepared smoothly. Please continue to intercede and pray.
We are planting crops this spring, including wild ginseng and bellflower roots, on the nearby mountain at the North Korean defectors' community. We hope these crops will grow well to share with Caleb Mission members visiting. Please pray for our center to become a strong base for advancing the gospel and bringing glory to God.
Please pray for South Korea's upcoming election. Only believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ will be elected to the National Assembly. Pray for the unification of the Korean Peninsula through the gospel.
There are still many North Korean defectors who need to be rescued. Unfortunately, a missionary who was helping North Korean workers in Russia was arrested on charges of espionage last week. Let us pray for him and for the North Korean defectors who have not yet found freedom. Please pray for God's anointing on our upcoming US tour.

할렐루야! 평강의 하나님이 함께 하시기를 기도드립니다. 세명의 탈북민 자매를 무사히 구출해, 곧 동남아 센터에서 교육을 시작하게 됩니다. 이들이 생명만 구원된 게 아니라 복음을 받아들이고 북한선교의 리더로 세워질 수 있도록 기도부탁드립니다.
하지만 안타깝게도, 지난번 구조되지 못한 두 아이와 탈북민 어머니는 구출하지 못했습니다. 먼저 구출된 자매들은 현재 한국에 들어오는 절차 중에 있는데 그 절차 중에는 외부와 연락이 불가능하기에, 중국에 남았던 탈북민 어머니와 소통이 불가능했습니다.
북한에서부터 중국의 삶까지 속음의 연속이었던 탈북민 어머니는 아직 복음을 모르기에 갈렙선교회도 믿지 못하고 이번 구조를 거절했습니다. 잘못되면 죽을지도 모르는데 아이를 데리고 탈출해야 하는 상황에 타인을 믿기가 어려운 것 같습니다.
탈북민 어머니와 두 자녀의 소식을 듣고, 후원해 주시고, 기도해 주신 분들이 있는데, 어머니의 마음을 바꿔주셔서 구출할 수 있도록 기도부탁드립니다.
또한 갈렙선교회는 다음 달 미국에 가서 북한인권을 알리는 투어를 준비하고 있습니다. 하버드 대학에서 비욘드 유토피아 상영회 후 Q&A에 저를 초청하였고, 보스턴의 교회 간증과 줄리아드 음대 출신의 음악가들이 주최하는 탈북민 구출 후원 음악회가 뉴욕에서 5월에 열립니다.

Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all.
Spring has already arrived, and the community of North Korean defectors is getting ready for farming. We are also excited to announce that we have successfully rescued three North Korean defector sisters. They are now being nurtured at the Southeast Asia Center. We kindly request your prayers for their well-being and that they may accept the gospel and become leaders of North Korean missions.
We were unable to rescue the North Korean defector mother and her two children in our previous and recent attempts. She mistrusts our organization and refuses our help unless she can talk to previously rescued women who are currently undergoing safe procedures with no contact with the outside world. She has been deceived by the North Korean regime and many people she met in China. It is sad that she cannot trust anyone, even if we want to help her. We understand her situation and difficulty trusting anyone when she and her children are at risk.
Some people have heard about her story, donated to rescue funds, and are praying for their safety. We ask that everyone join in prayer so that this woman and her children can stay safe. I am also praying that God, the source of peace, will change her heart and be with her so that Caleb Mission can rescue this mother and her children soon.
I'm going to the United States next month to advocate for human rights in North Korea. Harvard invited me for a screening of Beyond Utopia in mid-April. In May, a concert will be held in New York to support the rescue of North Korean defectors. We're also planning events in DC, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Georgia, Florida, Texas and more. Caleb Mission is ready to join hands with your organization or church. Please get in touch with us in advance to plan a smooth route.
